Fourdrinier paper machine 350 TPD, 178'' TRIM, 27lb - 60lb

Used Voith/Beloit Paper Machine, a 178" trim (194" pond) fourdrinier paper machine producing on average 350 TPD lightweight coated and uncoated freesheet (27lb - 60lb basis weights) at 3300FPM.

HEADBOX: Voith hydraulic headbox (new in 1998) with a 194" pond size.

FOURDRINIER: Beloit fourdrinier with 119.5" wide fabric, 28" diameter breast roll, 36" diameter suction couch roll.

TOP FORMER: Voith duoformer "D" with 201" wide fabric, 19-blade 3-zone top dewatering box, 10-blade bottom forming box, suction transfer box.

PRESS SECTION: Belot 26" diameter suction pickup roll, Voith 1st and 2nd center presses with 36" diameter 1st press suction roll (450pli), 43.3" diameter center press roll, and 25.8" Nipco 'F' 2nd press roll (500pli). Voith 3rd Press with 41.4" diameter Nipco "P" top roll (4500pli), and 50" diameter Nipcoflex roll.

MAIN DRYER SECTION: thirty-four(34) 60" diameter x 192" face dryer cans coded for 75psig. Composed of a 3-can Unirun dryer section, 6-can serpentine dryer section, two (2) double felted dryer sections of 12 cans each, and an 11-can double-felted after dryer section. Aquatrol moisture profiler.

PRE-CALENDER: Paprima Tail Cutter, Beloit two-roll hard calender stack with 28' diameter fixed crown top queen roll, and 24.5" diameter adjustable crown bottom king roll.

TRANSFER ROLL COATER/SIZE PRESS: IHI gate roll coater, IHI airturn, Infrared dryers top and bottom (gas and electric).

SOFT NIP CALENDER: Paprima tail cutter, two (2) Sulzer soft nip calenders (hard Nipco roll removed from 1st calender).

REEL: Beloit 190" reel with level rail, and 36" diameter drum.

DRIVES: ABB variable frequency AC and CGE sectional DC drive.

QUALITY SYSTEMS: Valmet operator control panel, size press scanner, and reel scanner (basis weight, moisture, caliper, ash, color, formation, and coating weight). CD control acuators for basis weight, caliper, mositure, and gloss.

WINDER: Valmet KL1000 two drum winderwith 186" wide unwind stand, GL&V rider roll and dual spreader rolls. Stock preparation and some additional roll finishing equipment included.
