Fine Paper machine, trim at deckle 2025mm to 2360mm, basis range 60gsm to 350 gsm,
speed 200m/min,
maximum production 3t/hr,
drive on right from flowbox,
producing plain woves, watermarks, felt finished.

The drive is on the right from the flowbox, making plain woves, watermarks, felt. We have a production table for grammages and grades produced and this is available on request.
Trim at deckle is 2360mm to 2025mm, minimum 80 gsm and maximum 350 gsm.
Speed is 200m/min and max production 3 t/hr. Produced most of the branded lines, fine watermarks to Register and Deadband, press marked papers, deep colours, some security products and smooth papers down to 50 Bendsten.

Stock Preparation
BCI 12 ft diameter pulper, stainless steel with Volkes rotor batch operation, V rope drive, running 6% consistency. Gearbox drive. Feed by floor mounted conveyor.
Back water tank with side entry agitator.
Tank wood tower with side entry agitator.
Stock refiner: Beloit 20” DD 2000 series.
Blend chest/tank number one with side entry agitator.

Blend chest /tank number two with side entry agitator.
Front broke chest with side entry agitator.
Machine chest with side entry agitator.
Back water fibre recovery by a Vickery Hydraseive, stainless steel.
Trim refiner: Pilao Tri Disc 24”.
Broke chest with side entry agitator.
L.D cleaners are in three stages.
Machine screen is a Beloit model 10 stainless steel pressure screen with 0.062”perforated baskets with 0.062” holes. V. Belt drive.
Wire Section
Pressure flowbox by Dr. Hogenkamph, stainless steel, 20 slice adjusters, slice width 2560mm, wire width 2620mm, knock down wire frame stainless table, stainless frame /foil forming board with polyethylene tops, 5 stainless foil units Johnson: 2 are vacuum assisted and are complete with silencers, 2 suction boxes, dandy support, Millspaugh suction couch and Thune automatic wire guide.
Dandy drives and supports for two dandies. Bertrams shake motion. Breast roll to couch centres: 13m.
Wire 21.5 m length x 2600mm face
Press Sections
Press has been rebuilt by Over Meccanica , three pneumatic loading presses: the first press is a suction type with top granite roll, the second press is a plain press and the third press is a marker press with patterned rolls.
First dryer Section
Total of ten dryers, face width 2540mm and diameter 1220mm, operating pressure 30psi , rope feed, Cooper split roller bearings, central lubrication, Thune automatic guides, Carrier Ross hood over drying sections with front opening sliding doors. Dryers are open gear drive C.I.

Second dryer section
12 cylinders as first section.

Size press
Inclined size press, pneumatic loaded, roll face 2480mm and diameter 410mm. Size screen, pumps and tanks at rear of machine.
Third dryer section
8 cylinders as first section.
Calender
Five roll calender with a two Kuster rolls, A/F bearings, hydraulic loaded, 2640mm face, rope feed also air assistance.
Measurex head measuring basis weight, profile, moisture and ash.
Measurex Cross Machine Caliper control through a Caltrol unit installed on the Calender section.
A Multiperm NT.99 online porosity measuring head controls the Trim Refiner loading
The Measurex colour head controls dye addition through a Metering pump system.
Tusa tape paper transfer system on to the drum reel.
Bertrams horizontal reel up with pneumatic operation. Maximum roll diameter 1500mm.
Machine drive is a line shaft to the dryers with a Eurotherm sectional electric to the wire presses, calender and the drum reel up. Drive motor for line shaft at rear of PM6.
Vacuum system comprises two Nash 2001, two Drysdale 4VA and two fans for wire foils. All pumps complete with separators and silencers.
