72" Used Model 909 Two Drum Surface Slitter/Rewinder.
This machine was purchased in 2005 and saw very little use due to the loss of business.
It comes equipped with a Powell Model EP shaftless unwind stand designed for a 72" width roll (37" minimum width) and a 72" diameter roll. The rewind diameter is also 72".
The maximum roll weight is 10,000.00 pounds. The unwind uses two Montalvo HP-1404 pneumatic brakes and a Fife P101 edge guide with the SP1 sensor.
The tension is controlled with a closed loop system using load cells and PLC.
Machine is also equipped with Double E chucks for 3", 4", 6", and 8" cores.
The shear slitting assembly uses the Model 841 4" diameter female knife assembly and 6 dove-tail mounted male knife holders with guards.
Two bowed rollers allow for slit widths down to 2". The rewind section comes with 3", 4", and 6" aluminum shafts and one 8" carbon fiber shaft. Also equipped with a roll kick-out and J table for roll handling.
The machine is driven by one Eurotherm 50 HP AC variable speed drive with a with a 50 HP AC motor. The machine is controlled with an Allen Bradley SLC 504 PLC through a Model 600 Panelview touch screen display.
This machine will run at speeds up to 2500 FPM. Ancillary Equipment:
One 15 HP blower with trim cage.
One Benjey header press with in floor rollers and overhead wrapper.
One Dusenbery Model 765 AB core cutters. Numerous knives, parts, and maintenance kit.
