96'' Tissue Paper Machine 12,000 TPY

Used Manchester Tissue Paper Machine (1968, Rebuilt by Beloit and MecFab in 1993, and Valmet in 2001)
producing 1- and 2-ply tissue, towel, napkins, and 1-ply wrapping paper with a MF finish and a basis weight range of 9# to 27# basis weights at approximately 12,000 tons per year.

This paper machine has a 96” maximum trim width,
110” pond side trim, pressure headbox, 2-chamber suction breast roll,
kiss pick-up flat fourdrinier,
single felt press section with Beloit vacuum pressure roll (new in 1993),
12’ diameter plasma coated Yankee dryer (coded 125 psi) with Devronizer,
steam-heated dryer hood,
seven (7) 48” diameter after dryer cans (in-line), Honeywell beta gauge, model 2202-2 scanning system (new in 2000),
60” maximum diameter single drum reel with 36” diameter drum, and roll/core handling crane, six (6) air shafts. DC drive system with 1 master and 4 slaves units with total control system.

Also included are all support/stock prep equipment including
vacuum pumps,
stock pumps,
Jones Double D disc refiner,
condensate system,
and some spare parts (new pressure roll seal strips, end deckles, rebuilt bearings, refiner disks, forming fabrics, press felts, and dryer felts).

Also available are seven (7) new dryer felt carrier rolls,
new doctor blade control system with seven (7) new doctor blades for after dryers, and new carrier rope system.

Machine was operating at a reel speed of 2100 – 2200 FPM, and is capable of producing a 106” trim with a wider Yankee dryer.

Valmet has completed a redesign to increase operating speed by 25%.
