Cotton Linters Pulp plant. Pulp mill producing bleached pulp from agricultural fibres.
Process uses soda cooking followed by sodium hypochlorite bleaching to a brightness of about 89 % ISO, producing 20,000 t/year of cotton linter pulp

was used in the manufacture of specialty and commodity fine papers.

Includes:
Intervac dust removal drum, all stainless steel.
Drum with perforations has 3.2 m diameter x 2.8 m length, stainless steel body holding the drum and it is enclosed in a stainless shell width 3.8 m, height 2.8 m and length 2900mm;
Tornado stainless pulper, year 1988, batch operation, tub stainless steel, 2.4 m diameter and 4450mm height, plant ref. 53D149, m/s top cover, side entry rotor, fed from flat conveyor width 1.5 m and length 11 m, with pulp lift to first level then to feed conveyor approx. 2 m length at the inlet level of the pulper;
Cutting refiners ref. 53D146 and 43D128. Two Sprout Waldron, models are R26EM, year 1981, with gearbox and motor drive. Loading is by gear motor. Starter has a soft start;
Sidehill screen stainless steel with a stainless micro mesh wire, 5 m width x 2.8 m length;
Bauer L.D. cleaners model 606, plastic bodies with ceramic bases. 27 cleaners in total located on the ground floor;
Bauer L.D. cleaners, model 606, plastic bodies, ceramic bases, 25 off units; Thune 32L screw press, stainless 316 body, Hansen gearbox drive from motor;
Two Pandia two tube horizontal digesters, year 1988, ref numbers 53T002 and 53T001. Bodies are carbon steel sprayed with duplex steel;
Horizontal feed screw, stainless manufacture, safety pressure control valve; Yield 75% on soda cook of cotton linters feedstock;
Dorr Oliver brown stock washer, stainless tubs horizontal operation, ref. 53D154; Thune 32L screw press, stainless 316 body, Hansen gearbox drive from motor;
Repulper screw in stainless, plant number 53D185, screw 4000mm length x 400mm approx;
Dorr Oliver bleached stock washer, stainless tub, horizontal operation, ref. 53D141;
Bleaching towers, one f/glass and other stainless. The stainless tower is 2.2m diameter x 9 m height approx., configured as up-flow with a dilution zone at the top;
Brushing refiners ref. 53D143 and 53D128. Two Sprout Waldron. 1988 manufacture, Models R26-T-F111, gearbox drive from 335kw, 1490 rpm motors, Gear motor loading.
