| New generation of greases for open gears GRIZZLY GREASE No.1 is a lubricant for open gears which marks the end of an era for toothed gear lubricants which are based on bitumen or asphalt due to this new technology. GRIZZLY GREASE No.1 is based on lithium/calcium complex with high pressure additives, which are combined with the soap structure so that an optimum adhesiveness to the metal surface is possible. GRIZZLY GREASE No.1 is resistant to radiation up to 1,2 x 106 Gy (1,2 x 108 rad) GRIZZLY GREASE No.1 had been developed as special grease for high loaded open gears such as ore mills. Due to the high temperature properties GRIZZLY GREASE No. 1 can be used for a wide range of applications, where high temperatures and high loads exist. In contrast to lubricants for toothed gears based on asphalt. GRIZZLY GREASE No.1 can be recommended for ball bearings and roller bearings as well as for slide bearings/bushes and open gears. |
