MJ Research DNA Engine Opticon 2 Continuous Fluore

The Opticon 2 real-time PCR detection system has the same standard
features as the original Opticon system,
but with the expanded dual-color detection capability.
Samples are illuminated with a fixed array of 96 blue-green LEDs
and detected by two photomultiplier tubes (PMTs).
The first PMT detects wavelengths between 523-543 nm
(suitable for the detection of SYBR Green I and FAM-labeled probes),
while the second PMT detects wavelengths of 540-700 nm
(suitable for the detection of a range of common fluorophores
including with HEX, TET, TAMRA and VIC labeled probes).
