Description
JASCO J-810 J-815 circular dichroism (CD) spectropolarimeters measure left-
and right-handed circularly polarized light of optically active molecules.
They are hybrid instruments consisting of variable wavelength polarimeter
and absorption spectrophotometer.(163nm ~ 900nm, Far-UV to VIS Range)
*CD applications include:
• Determination of protein secondary structure
• Determination of optical purity
• Analysis of the tertiary structure of proteins and conformational changes
• Comparison of the secondary and tertiary structures of wild-type and mutant proteins
