Ventilator for long-term replacement ventilation for intensive care
With optional upgrades of advanced technology, this ventilator can meet the specific needs of virtually every type of patient
Automatically compensates for the flow-dependent pressure drop in the endotracheal tube or trachea and controls the patient's cerebral pressure to a constant PEEP value
When the circuit is disconnected, gas flow stops and doctors are notified that
Ongoing background checks evaluate the electronics and ventilation of the ventilator to ensure patient safety.
Innovative design makes it easy to set up and navigate,
The ventilator supports hospital information systems and ensures trouble-free data transfer,
DualView LCD touch screen,

The Puritan Bennett 840 Ventilator includes the following software:

PAV TM + - a type of breathing that better manages the patient's work and supports a more natural breathing compared to conventional mechanical ventilation,
BiLevel TM - allows the patient to breathe spontaneously on two PEEP levels,
VV + (Volume Ventilation Plus) - a pressure-based type of breathing to deliver a preset tidal volume to the patient,
TC (Tube Compensation) - By compensating for resistance in the artificial airway, this type of spontaneous breathing accurately overcomes the imposed work of breathing (WOB) from the endotracheal and tracheostomy tubes.

Ventilator parameters:
Pressure support (PSUPP): 0 to 70 cm H2O,
Expiratory Sensitivity (ESENS) Range: 1% to 80%;
Apnea tidal volume (VT) rate: 25 to 2500 ml
Apnea respiratory rate (f): 2.0 to 40 / min
Peak Inspiratory Flow (V.MAX):
1.0 to 30 l / min, for newborns,
3.0 to 60 l / min, for a pediatric patient,
3.0 to 150 l / min, for an adult patient,
Inspiratory pressure (PI): 5 to 90 cm H2O,
Apnea inspiratory time (TI): 0.2 to 8.0 seconds
