In this section you will find all types of machines to produce flat woven fabric.
Base of the weaving technic is made by passing the weft thread under warp thread and so on. By passing one or a group of weft under one or a group of warp thread will give different properties or designs to the fabric. These types of yarn crossing will have different names: plain weave, satin, twill, taffeta, Leno, crepe, jacquard.
In the weaving you will need warping machines to prepare the warp that will be use on the weaving loom. Main warping machine makers are Karl Mayer, Benninger, Comsat, Hacoba, Prashant, etc
In some cases you will need a sizing machine to apply size material to the warp yarns before weaving. Manufacturers or sizing machines are Sucker Muller, Tsudakoma, Benninger, Karl Mayer.
Then you will find different machines for weaving: rapier looms, air jet looms, water jet looms, projectile looms and shuttle looms. The difference between these looms is the way the weft yarn is carried through the warp. Main looms makers are Picanol, Toyota, Itema, Tsudakoma, Dornier, Somet, Vamatex, Sulzer...
