3-section GREENS WASHER,
for leafy greens such as
spinach, lettuce, cabbage,
and mixed greens

FEATURES:
• 12 foot long by 3 foot wide product conveyor belt runs through all three sections.
o Interlocking plastic chain type belt, with fine slotted openings to allow water to pass through.
o 28 inch wide cleats (centered on belt) each 2 inches high, on 12 inch centers.
• 12.5 inch long by full width stainless steel shelf (to prevent in-fed product from falling behind or underneath the belt).
• (2) stainless steel recirculation pumps.
• (2) static water reclaim screens to filter out stems, seeds and other fines from the recirculating wash water.
• Overhead sprays along full length.
• TWO TANKS, THREE IMMERSIONS for gentle tumble and spray washing through three wash baths, for gentle cleansing of delicate greens.
o First wash section has its own overhead spray section, pump, with a 12 inch diameter hinged side-cleanout door, and hydrosieve solids removal screen (to filter out any fine particulate coming through the belt).
o Wash sections two and three share a common pump, overhead sprays, with a 12 inch diameter hinged side-cleanout door, and hydrasieve solids removal screen (to filter out any fine particulate coming through the belt).
• Food grade sanitary stainless steel greens washer.
• Manufacturer rated for up to 3,000 lbs of loose-leaf lettuce per hour.
• 500 gallon water capacity.
• 3/4 HP conveyor belt drive.
• Gasketed PVC control box with variable speed controller for belt speed, and on/off switches for belt and pumps, 208/230 volt 3 phase electrical input.
