ACEA Biosciences NovoCyte 2000 Flow Cytometer

The Acea Biosciences NovoCyte 2000 flow cytometer is capable of meeting the full spectrum of current and future research needs in multiparameter cell analysis.
ACEA's NovoCyte platform offers researchers the opportunity to utilize high-quality flow cytometry at a low investment.
Technical details include a 488 nm blue laser and a 640 nm red laser, detectors at 530, 585, and 675 nm,
and a laser array that uses spatially separated beams with elliptical spots of 10 x 80 μm.
Optical alignment is fixed, requiring no user adjustment. The flow cell measures 170 x 290 μm,
and the resolution is FSC < 0.5 μm and SSC < 0.2 μm.
The cell size range is 0.2 to 50 μm, and the fluorescence threshold sensitivity is < 75 MESF for FITC and < 50 MESF for PE.
The fluorescence resolution is < 3% CV for CEN, and the filters are user-changeable.
The sample is analyzed at an acquisition rate of 35,000 events per second, and the volumetric absolute counting accuracy is < 5% CV.
The sample flow rate is 5 to 120 μL/min, while the sheath flow rate is 6.5 mL/min.
The sample intake range is 10 to 100 μL.
The fluid reservoir has a volume of 3 L for the housing, 3 L for waste, 500 mL for cleaning, and 500 mL for decontamination.
The carryover is < 0.1%. Fluidic maintenance is automatic, including startup, cleaning, disinfection, and shutdown.
Manual samples can be loaded into 12 x 75 mm tubes. The device measures 600 x 450 x 390 mm and weighs 39 kg.
