Avantes HortiSpec+ Spectrometer System

HortiSpec+ equipped with a NR Lite2 Net Radiometer probe.
The HortiSpec is designed to measure light intensity
and spectral distribution in the visible and NIR range in greenhouses.
Plant growth and photosynthesis are highly dependent
on light intensity and spectral distribution of light intensity.
Light intensity can be measured with the HortiSpec in photons
or other parameters specific to horticulture.
NR Lite2 is designed for routine measurement of net radiation,
which is the balance between incoming
and outgoing radiation in the open air.
The design of the NR Lite2 is unique.
The double-sided detector has black conical absorbers
with a weatherproof non-stick coating.
Unlike other sensor designs,
NR Lite2 does not require fragile plastic domes.
This results in a virtually maintenance-free design.
The vertical rod prevents birds from affecting the output signal.
