The machine consists of a belt conveyor made of a robust steel profile structure.
It works by means of a reducer motor driven by a starter motor
with two keypads placed on each side of the conveyor.
It is where the slats are prepared
for joining by tongue and groove in the next phase.
Subsequently, the machine itself is located,
responsible for receiving,
fixing and joining the wooden slats using the tongue
and groove system.
For this, 2 hydraulic pistons will act on a dolly
that will push the slats to their union.
For this operation, clamps act by means
of 4 pneumatic cylinders to guarantee
the correct fixing of the slats.
The whole machine is made of steel profiles.
In it in the same structure are located
both the hydraulic power station,
the control panel and the general electrical panel.
The operation of the machine is based on
the introduction of a series
of wooden slats arranged side by side,
up to a machine that fixes
and holds them until,
by means of the force exerted by the pressure of two hydraulic actuators,
they are joined by the tongue
and groove method.
Useful working measures max. 2,200 x 1,300 mm wide.
