Eisai AIM 296

Automated inspection machine for glass ampoules.
The fully automated AIM 296 inspection machine inspects glass vials and
ampoules up to 18mm in diameter for particles in liquids and cosmetic
container defects at speeds of up to 400 containers per minute. The compact
construction of the machine guarantees trouble-free operation and fast format
changeovers. The AIM 296 is designed for safe operation, easy to use, and
complies with GAMP standards.

The machine uses two state-of-the-art inspection technologies:
1. SD (Static Division): light transmission based equipment for the inspection
of particles in low to medium viscosity liquids, as well as the inspection of fill
levels.
2. Camera-based (vision) equipment for inspection of cosmetic packaging
defects, including particles in high viscosity liquids, container fil levels
