Ellex Tango YAG SLT Laser
EUROPE (Western and Northern)
The Ellex Tango SLT/YAG Laser is a dual-purpose ophthalmic laser system
specifically designed for performing both Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty
(SLT) and Nd:YAG laser procedures such as posterior capsulotomy and
peripheral iridotomy. This 2010 model offers robust performance,
precise energy control, and reliable targeting capabilities,
making it a practical and efficient tool for
anterior segment laser treatments.
Equipped with dual-wavelength technology
(532 nm for SLT and 1064 nm for YAG), the Ellex Tango enables
seamless switching between therapeutic and
photodisruptive procedures without the need for hardware changes.
Its optimized optics deliver a uniform energy profile and
high-resolution targeting, contributing to greater accuracy
and clinical safety. The SLT function uses a frequency-doubled
Q-switched Nd:YAG laser to selectively target pigmented trabecular
meshwork cells, minimizing collateral damage and
preserving surrounding tissue.
The 2010 model includes an integrated slit lamp design,
a precise aiming system, and an intuitive user interface.
While newer versions may offer enhanced software and user ergonomics,
this system still delivers high-quality clinical results and has a
solid reputation among ophthalmic professionals.
The Ellex Tango also features adjustable energy levels, burst mode for
YAG procedures, and compatibility with a variety of lenses.
This Ellex Tango unit, manufactured in 2010, is currently available in
Villefranche-sur-Saône, France, and ready for immediate sale.
The system is in excellent working condition,
having been professionally maintained in the hospital until it
was relocated in 2024.
