Fords 120 SD, Press

Press is a filler-driven Press which is custom built to suit the filler.
It is a high specification machine controlled
by sophisticated automation control devices
and requires minimal operator intervention.

Complete with a twin format unit designed to produce
a quality tabbed cap of nominal size 38mm
from reels of plain or continuously printed aluminum foil
with a maximum reel diameter of 380mm
at speeds of 300 caps per minute (18,000 per hour).

The Model 120 SD Press includes 1 metre of aluminum chute
with stainless steel cap applier combination for one bottle height,
automatic foil lubrication, cap flow control system
which protects the tools from damage,
splie detection and automatic foil feed,
servo controlled and feed drives and all functions controls
by an intelligent Festo pneumatic terminal
and Siemens logic control system.
All electrical control components are mounted
in the filler stand alone panel.
