Since imported into Melbourne, these Spirals have
never been set up and in the end the company decided to move them on.


- 2 x Frigoscandia Spiral frames, rollers and belts plus motors that drive the belts. Both spirals are 40 tiers high, approximately 7 metres in height. Belts are 880mm wide with divider in the middle making them capable of running 2 products at the same time. Off memory each spiral has a capacity of 2.5 to 3 ton of product. Owner had planned on using only one of the spirals and keeping the other one for parts and spare belt if needed. You could however set both up in two separate rooms and run one into the other to drastically increase volume.

This doubled their capacity which is what I assume the previous owner in the UK had done. For them just one spiral was going to be more than enough volume given the size of these and belt width.

2x Western Mechanical Handling UK Ltd transport belts. These came with the spirals and are just short transfer belts approximately 2 to 3 feet in length.

4 large evaporators ( 2 per spiral) plus two large steel frames that these sit in.
