High-performance thermal computer-to-plate (CTP) imaging system engineered for commercial and high-volume print production environments.
Utilizing SCREEN’s proven 830nm thermal imaging technology, the PTR-4000S delivers precise,
repeatable plate imaging with excellent dot fidelity and registration accuracy.

This configuration is capable of imaging plates up to approximately 81 inches in length, supporting very large format press applications.
The system accommodates large format thermal plates typically used in packaging and specialty offset environments
and is compatible with standard thermal offset plates, including positive-working and processless plate technologies (subject to RIP and chemistry configuration).

The system is equipped with an automatic multi-cassette plate autoloader, allowing unattended operation
and sequential plate feeding to increase throughput and reduce labor.
Integrated OLP (Online Plate Processing) provides a continuous automated workflow — load → image → process —
eliminating manual plate transfer and improving production efficiency and consistency.

This offered machine shows:
4,264 hours on the laser assembly, indicating moderate imaging head usage
Approximately 88,564 plate cycles, reflecting production history

PTR-series devices are widely recognized for durability, consistent imaging quality, and long service life when properly maintained.

Typical features include:
830nm thermal imaging technology
High-resolution imaging suitable for stochastic and conventional screening
Automatic plate autoloader for reduced operator intervention
Inline OLP processor for streamlined plate production
Designed for integration with common prepress workflows (Kodak Prinergy, etc.)
