The unit (aggregate) consists of four 19-spindle drill heads; each drill head is powered by a 1.5 KW motor. Up and down travel for each aggregate is by pneumatic/hydraulic feed.
Boring depth is 0 - 35mm with 70mm tooling installed.
Two-depth selection for blind boring and thru boring is programmable through the PLC.
There are eight hold down clamps, for work pieces up to 40mm thick.
Y-axis travel for the drilling unit NC controlled from 20 - 580mm from the fixed backstop ruler.
Travel speed is 250mm per second.
The back fence has two end stops adjustable from 0 - 150mm
Electronic control with LCD display for 99 programs with a maximum of 4 rows of holes per program.
Fully automatic electronic control with foot pedal initiation of the clamping/re-clamping, drilling cycle and safety control.
