GE Healthcare's high-performance 16-slice CT scanners.
Built on reliable and proven technology,
this scanner combines state-of-the-art clinical capabilities with
an affordable price. An intelligent workflow with a variety of
automated tools helps achieve efficiency and improve patient throughput.

Revolution ACT is a robust platform with a compact geometry
(10.1 m2 footprint ) that is 51% lighter than previous generation systems.

Energy-saving design
Compact and energy-efficient design: each detector channel
consumes only 2 mW. The detector features intelligent temperature control,
so scanning setup takes just a few minutes.

Improved spatial resolution
The system is based on the Clarity detector, a new panel design that
provides a spatial resolution of 18 lp/cm, enabling high-quality images and
reliable 3D anatomy visualization.

Noise reduction up to 20%
The acquisition system is similar to that used in the premium Revolution CT
system and improves signal-to-noise ratio by 20%,
providing better image quality.

Radiation exposure management
ViSR - Advanced filters help control photon attenuation and eliminate noise
without sacrificing resolution - for clear imaging in neurology, oncology,
and pediatrics
ODM - Reduces radiation exposure by up to 40% when
imaging superficial tissues such as breasts and eyes
Dose Check - warnings about exceeding set dose levels
3D mA Modulation - optimizes (according to patient body type and
scanning protocol) the tube current in the xyz directions with
little impact on image quality
Dosewatch - Ensures that the minimum acceptable level of
radiation exposure (ALARA) is maintained, while still allowing for clear,
focused diagnostic images and preventing excessive patient exposure.
