Refurbished GE Revolution Maxima —
GE Healthcare's modern 64-slice value platform,
sitting in the Revolution family between the
legacy Revolution EVO and the Revolution CT /
Revolution Ascend / Revolution Apex flagships.
The Maxima ships with 64-slice acquisition
(128-slice overlapped axial reconstruction available),
40 mm of detector coverage, the Performix 40 Plus
high-output tube, ASiR (and ASiR-V on supported configurations)
for dose reduction, and the modern Revolution-family Clarity console
with SmartTome workflow. Typical clinical scope covers routine outpatient CT,
oncology follow-up, ED head/abdomen/pelvis/trauma, vascular planning,
urgent-care CT, and mobile-trailer deployments.
Compared to a Revolution EVO, the Maxima brings an updated console,
refreshed user interface, and a slightly newer dose-management toolset on
the same Performix-class tube — a meaningful workflow upgrade without paying flagship money.
Compared to a Revolution Ascend, the Maxima gives up TrueFidelity DLIR and Effortless Workflow's
AI-driven Auto Positioning / Smart Plan / Auto Prescription stack in exchange for
a substantially lower acquisition cost and a more mature parts pipeline.
Compared to a Revolution CT, it gives up wide-coverage one-beat cardiac performance
for a smaller footprint and a much lower siting cost. As a GE-trained,
engineer-led refurbisher, MIS sources, refurbishes, deinstalls, ships,
installs, and supports the Revolution Maxima with parts inventory,
applications training, and engineer-led service.
