The Evo upgrade brings the SIGNA Artist gradient/RF/coil platform,
AIR Coil family, Total Digital Imaging (TDI) receive chain, and
modern SIGNAWorks software to sites that would otherwise need
a full magnet swap or building modification to move to a 70 cm wide-bore 1.5T.
Typical buyers are imaging centers and hospitals running an aging Signa HDxt 1.5T or
Optima MR450 1.5T who want SIGNA Artist clinical capability and patient comfort
without the time, capital, or facility disruption of a full replacement.
The Evo platform supports the same neuro, MSK, body, breast, vascular,
and oncology workload as a SIGNA Artist.
