GE Signa Explorer 1.5T
AMERICA North (USA-Canada-Mexico)
The GE Signa Explorer 1.5T is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system used
to form visual representations or images for comprehensive assessment of anatomy,
morphology, physiology. Versatile, powerful, and reliable,
the Signa Explorer 1.5T delivers high-clarity images
and improves the clinical workflow making it well suited
for imaging procedures involving cardiac, head, neurology, orthopedic,
pelvis, prostate, spinal, spine, vascular, and the whole body.
Equipped with GE's technology, the Excite 1.5T can also be used
for evaluating a wide range of conditions including stroke, cancer,
and musculoskeletal disease.
The GE Signa Explorer 1.5T is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner used
in hospital and clinics for radiology applications.
The Signa Explorer 1.5T is a versatile and powerful MRI scanning system designed
for comprehensive assessment of cardiac, head, neurology, orthopedic,
pelvis, prostate, spinal, spine, vascular, and the whole body.
The Explorer 1.5T is equipped with the Silent Suite technology.
The advanced technology allows the 1.5T to perform its function
at a reduced noise (less 3 decibels above ambient). Aside from the near-silent operation,
the Explorer can also deliver high-quality images
that allow the attending medical personnel to have an enhanced confidence
with the diagnostic. The high-resolution, high-quality quality image
is achieved by using GE's OpTix Optical RF Technology.
The MRI scanner is provided with a 16-channel array which allows the Explorer 1.5T
to boost the speed of the scanning procedure
without reducing the quality of the images.
The automatic coil section and the Express Suit coil design provided
in the scanner also allows for quick and consistent examinations to be performed.
The Explorer 1.5T is also equipped with READY Brain and PROPPELER technology.
The READY Brain, designed to further reduce time,
is an automated brain examination system designed to be operated
by medical personnel or even non-expert MRI users.
The PROPELLER is configured for further reducing the rescans
by using the motion correction techniques offered by this technology.
