Pairs a 1.5T zero-boil-off superconducting magnet with a 60 cm patient bore,
modern SIGNAWorks software, and a productivity-focused workflow that's well-matched
to outpatient imaging centers, community hospitals, and replacement projects.
Typical clinical scope covers neuro, MSK, body, vascular, breast, and pediatric imaging —
the standard 1.5T workload — with optional advanced packages for cardiac, abdominal,
and oncology programs. Compared to legacy Signa HDxt 1.5T systems,
the SIGNA Explorer brings a modernized console, better dose/SAR management,
and a meaningfully better helium lifecycle.
Compared to a 70 cm SIGNA Artist, the Explorer trades wide-bore comfort for a lower price and
a smaller siting footprint, which often makes it the right answer for replacement projects in
existing 60 cm rooms. As an authorized refurbisher, MIS handles sourcing, refurbishment,
deinstall, magnet logistics, install, applications training, parts, and engineer-led service.
Mobile-trailer leasing is available for interim and project-driven capacity.
