GE Vivid S5

The Vivid S5 is a new generation of color Doppler ultrasound systems for
cardiac research.
High performance and ergonomics

The light weight and modest dimensions of this stationary scanner bring it closer
to portable models in terms of ease of use. The doctor can easily fold the monitor,
transport the scanner to another room directly to the patient, and
then easily fix it thanks to the parking mechanism.

The scanner has a Flex-Fit mechanism for ease of workflow. It allows you to
smoothly adjust the height and angle of rotation of the control panel,
thereby providing free space under the panel for the legs and a comfortable height of
the panel for the hands. The scanner keyboard also slides out horizontally.

A programmable Flex button next to the trackball allows you to assign to
it those commands that are often required, but at the same time are
located on the remote keys.

The use of ergonomic design and new technologies has made it possible to
create a device that provides maximum comfort during diagnostics.

The main advantages of the GE Vivid S5 include the highest rendering quality and
a wide range of modern features at an affordable price.

The scanner is able to save "raw" ultrasound data for later use. The processing of
this data and analysis is carried out by the EchoPAC PC workstation,
which instantly returns to any examinations and reanalyses them -
to formulate an accurate diagnosis and reduce the time the patient spends in
the ultrasound office. Subsequent data exchange is possible both over the
network and using various digital media (DVD, Flash Card).

The following functions and technologies are implemented in the scanner to obtain high quality images:
automatic adjustment of ATO, ASO;
Smart Depth - setting some parameters depending on the depth of scanning;
multi-focus control;
anatomical M-mode.

A large selection of compatible transducers expands the scope of the Vivid S5
ultrasound machine - in addition to cardiology, doctors can conduct examinations of
the abdominal cavity organs, blood vessels, and the musculoskeletal system.
The scanner has 3 ports for connecting sensors with different frequencies and
configurations.
