GE Voluson E8
RUSSIA and Central Asia
Voluson E8 is an advanced expert-class model designed for
any examination in obstetrics, gynecology, perinatology,
and assisted reproductive medicine.
The device meets all the most stringent requirements for medical imaging
and helps to obtain three-dimensional images of the fetus (3D-4D) of
excellent quality thanks to unique technologies from GE Healthcare.
Realism in 4D images
The device supports high-tech probes, including many existing Voluson
Expert Series high-frequency probes. For example, the RIC6-12D probe
(4D intracavitary) allows for detailed imaging of fetal structures as
early as the first trimester of pregnancy, enabling accurate diagnosis of
gynecological conditions.
HDlive technology provides the highest realism of anatomical structures by
using three light sources and creating shadows on the surface of the object.
SonoRenderlive automatically adjusts the imaging plane during fetal movements.
OmniVew allows you to explore irregularly shaped structures by specifying
a trajectory with an arbitrary line and selecting an area of interest.
High-power control system
The Voluson E8 ultrasound scanner's advanced capabilities are enabled,
in part, by the high-performance and powerful ViewPoint control system.
Data archiving allows for new calculations, re-checking,
and revisiting scan results.
The ViewPoint system also allows you to quickly create reports and
easily share data with colleagues and patients.
Parallel data processing speeds up ultrasound scanning processes and
improves image quality.
Workflow automation technologies:
Scan Assistant – automation of repetitive research processes, simplification
of measurements and creation of standard reports;
SonoBiometry – semi-automatic fetometry;
SonoNT and SonoIT – standardization of measurements of the thickness of
the nuchal translucency and the fourth ventricle of the fetal brain in
the first trimester of pregnancy in a semi-automatic mode;
SonoVCADheart – analysis of the fetal heart by simplifying the process of obtaining planes from a volumetric image;
SonoAVC is a mode for visualization and measurement of
hypoechoic anatomical structures.
Voluson E8 Ultrasound System: New Features
GE Healthcare is investing heavily in developing image-enhancing
technologies that can:
suppress artifacts and noise without losing fidelity;
increase the clarity of the contours of organs and tissues, the boundaries of
environments;
conduct high-precision scanning of blood vessels;
and all this in a matter of moments without lengthy adjustments.
The Voluson E8 ultrasound scanner uses an integrated 4D View application,
which speeds up the diagnostic process by creating a
dedicated workstation. The application frees the scanner from
processing and analyzing the acquired data—all of this is handled by
the workstation.
