GE's entry point into the Voluson women's health line,
built for OB/GYN practices that need 3D/4D prenatal imaging
without a flagship investment. The P8 pairs HDlive rendering
with SonoBiometry automated fetal measurements on a
compact cart with a 17-inch display and three active probe ports.
A smaller footprint and lower weight than the S8 or S10 make
it practical for tighter exam rooms.

HDlive 3D/4D with OmniView and Advanced VCI —
Multi-plane volume rendering and curved slicing give clinicians
detailed fetal anatomy views during routine prenatal exams,
without requiring a higher-tier Voluson.
SonoBiometry and SonoLyst protocol guidance —
Automated fetal biometry measures BPD, HC, AC,
and FL in one capture, while SonoLyst walks sonographers
through standardized OB exam sequences to reduce missed views.
Compact 65 kg cart with dedicated OB/GYN controls —
At 420 mm wide and 65 kg, the P8 fits exam rooms
where larger Voluson consoles cannot, with a gesture-friendly panel
and dedicated OB/GYN shortcut keys.
