Thanks to the new features, the GR-3100K model has become even more practical and convenient to use, both for professional doctors and for beginners of optometrists. The enlarged color liquid crystal display and graphical interface simplifies the measurement and significantly reduces fatigue. Using the system of focus pointers and the automatic measurement start function allows you to quickly and ideally accurately focus the device, which ensures high accuracy and speed of measurement, as well as the comfort of the patient. After the measurements are completed, the results are printed automatically. Also, the tape is automatically cut off with a printout.

The measurement range is increased to ± 25D (Sphere) and ± 10D (Cylinder). Model GR-3100K has the function of measuring the curvature of the cornea at peripheral points.

A color liquid crystal display and graphical interface (the use of icons instead of English words) facilitates and accelerates the learning of the instrument.

The Focus Guiding System with the colored arrows on the screen shows the direction in which you need to move the device to achieve accurate guidance of the refractometer. The disappearance of the arrows indicates that the instrument is focused and the results obtained will be perfectly accurate.

The Auto Start feature allows you to start measurements without pressing any additional buttons as soon as the instrument is properly focused. Having carried out a given number of measurements for one eye, the refractometer will display a message on the screen that you can proceed to measuring another eye. After completing the measurements of both eyes, the results will be printed automatically. In this case, the doctor does not need to press any buttons - only to monitor the precise focusing of the device. Leaflets with printouts of measurement results are always cut off accurately and look neat. The automatic paper cutter is now integrated in the printer.

The video output (NTSC standard) allows you to get a copy of the built-in display image on an external monitor.

The RS-232C interface provides data transfer to external devices, including a computer. The optional software allows you to automatically accumulate measurement results, as well as view and process them in spreadsheets.

The refractometer provides an automatic measurement of the DC for the vision in the distance (indicated in the printout "PD"). In addition, it is possible to measure the DC for near vision (at a distance of 30, 35, 40 or 45 cm at will). In the printout, the result is referred to as "NPD".

The IOL measurement mode provides a simple and more accurate measurement of patients using intraocular lenses. When this mode is selected, "IOL" is displayed on the screen and in the printout.

The minimum diameter of the pupil required for accurate measurement is only 2.3 mm.
