The Heidelberg Spectralis HRA+OCT combines a confocal scanning laser
ophthalmoscope (cSLO) with a spectral-domain optical coherence tomography
(SD-OCT) system. It offers high-resolution imaging of the retina
and anterior eye segment, including features like active eye-tracking
and optional modules for angiography and glaucoma diagnostics.
Key Specifications:
Scanning Speed: 85,000 Hz (OCT2 Module)
Axial Resolution (OCT): 3.9 μm
Lateral Resolution (OCT Angiography): 5.7 μm
Fundus Imaging: Infrared Reflectance, BluePeak, MultiColor
Angiography: Fluorescein and ICG angiography (HRA)
Eye Tracking: TruTrack Active Eye Tracking
Modularity: Upgradeable with various imaging modules
Anterior Segment Imaging: Yes, with specific scan patterns
Detailed Features:
SD-OCT: Provides high-resolution, cross-sectional images of the retina and anterior segment.
cSLO: Enables fundus imaging with various light sources (blue, green, infrared).
OCT Angiography Module: Allows for non-invasive visualization of retinal and choroidal vasculature.
Glaucoma Module Premium Edition: Includes OCT2 Module (85,000 Hz) and glaucoma-specific analysis tools.
Nsite Analytics Module: Provides measurements of neuronal and axonal projections within the retina.
BluePeak Module: Reveals metabolic activity in conditions like AMD.
ART (Automatic Real-time) Technology: Averages multiple scans to reduce noise and improve image quality.
User Interface: Includes a control panel for adjusting imaging parameters and an optional panning camera headset and touch panel.
