The Hitachi Altaire 0.7T Open MRI Scanner is a top-tier system that
redefines the capabilities of open MRI.
It features Hitachi’s signature asymmetric two-post architecture,
providing a spacious and open gantry design that is ideal for
reducing claustrophobia and accommodating a wide range of patients,
including pediatric, elderly, and bariatric individuals.
At its core is a 0.7T vertical field superconducting magnet,
which delivers excellent homogeneity and high-field performance with
a patient gap of 47cm. The system is enhanced by VOSI® technology
(Vertical-Field with Optimized Sub-System Integration),
which ensures consistently high image quality by harmonizing the
performance of the magnet, gradients, RF, and computer subsystems.
The Altaire is equipped with powerful gradients
(22 mT/m and 55 T/m/s slew rate) to support advanced imaging
protocols such as echo-planar imaging, perfusion,
and diffusion-weighted imaging, offering clinicians a robust and
versatile tool for a wide range of diagnostic needs.
