Key Functions :
Vacuum Suction Feeding: It uses suction to lift and feed cover stocks.
This prevents the marking, scratching, or scuffing that often occurs with standard friction feeders,
making it necessary for processing delicate, heavy, or coated stocks.
Inline Scoring: The unit features an integrated scoring (creasing) mechanism.
It applies precise spine and hinge scores to the cover right before it meets the glued book block,
ensuring a sharp, squared spine and preventing the cover stock from cracking when the finished book is opened.
Misfeed and Double-Feed Detection: It is equipped with optical sensors that monitor the feeding process.
If it detects a missed cover or two covers pulled at once, it immediately halts the binding carriage.
This prevents a "naked" glued book block from passing through the system, minimizing material waste and mechanical cleanup.
