Booklet Making Module
Mileage 78,000 brochures, condition is new!!!!
Horizon HOF 400 is a high-speed digital print feeding module, which is used in printing lines to automate the booklet making process.
It ensures stable and accurate print processing, supports work with both single sheets and collations.
Main features :
Maximum sheet size: 356 × 610 mm (14 × 24 in).
Minimum sheet size: 203 × 203 mm (8 × 8 in).
Paper density: 52–157 g/m² (plain paper), 73–157 g/m² (coated paper).
Working with thicker paper (157–209 g/m²) is possible, but the feeding speed will decrease.
Productivity: up to 35,000 sheets per hour (for A4 SEF format).
Dimensions (L x W x H): 896 x 1035 x 1200 mm.
Power supply: 220 V, 50 Hz.
Features:
Vacuum paper feed.
The large-capacity input tray (up to 620 mm) is equipped with a vacuum belt for sheet-by-sheet feeding of digital prints.
This ensures stable operation with prints of various thicknesses and formats.
Control sensors.
The feed system is equipped with ultrasonic sensors that monitor the quality of sheet feed, and two pairs of optoelectronic sensors.
The sensors read special marks imprinted on the digital machine on the first and last sheets of the collation, which allows for automatic separation of collations.
Ultrasonic double-sheet inspection eliminates defective feeding.
Control system.
The module is equipped with a color touchscreen display with a graphical interface, which simplifies control and parameter settings.
Integration with Horizon production lines.
The HOF 400 easily connects to the Horizon SPF-200A and Horizon SPF-200L booklet makers and the high-performance Horizon StitchLiner 5500 booklet making system.
Standard features include a high-capacity feed stack; vacuum feed belt; ultrasonic paper feed control sensor;
optoelectronic sensors for digital collation control; and a color touchscreen with a graphical user interface.
Additional options include the AC-400 — collation accumulation/pushing module.
The CF-400 — cover feeding module. A barcode scanner; and a CCD camera for collation quality control.
The Horizon HOF 400 is suitable for processing digital prints and can also be integrated into offset printing processing lines.
