Producing 1,000 books per hour, with spines up to 5 cm.
I have already cut 3,500 per hour with 1 cm spines.
Book size without cutting: Max. 330 x 330 mm (12.99” x 12.99”) Min. 148 x 105 mm (5.83” x 4.14”).
Book size with cutting: Max. 300 x 300 mm (11.81” x 11.81”) Min. 142 x 100 mm (5.60” x 3.94”).
The Horizon HT-70 is a three-blade trimmer, in-line or out-of-line, that produces precise and clean cuts, without burrs, at speeds of up to 1,000 cycles per hour.
The console with LCD display guides the operator during setup and tool changes, as well as providing continuous updates on system status.
The HT-70 accepts a variable cutting thickness of up to 50 mm (2”).
Tool changes are performed in less than 10 minutes, and all adjustments are external to the blade area for greater safety.
An advanced interlock system provides greater operator safety. Quick adjustment to book size.
The HT-70 adjusts quickly to book size, taking less than 10 minutes per adjustment.
Furthermore, for ease and safety, the cutting base does not require removal or replacement,
while the upper and lower guards can be adjusted from outside the machine.
