Description:.
The Cellscreen system consists of an inverted microscope using UIS optics and an apochromatic relay lens system.
Attached to this is a monochrome,
autofocusing camera with a progressive image sensor and automatic shutter,
allowing an effective resolution of 1.3 million pixels.
Images are passed to a computer workstation
with optimized software that coordinates the individual hardware components.
The system's pattern recognition software allows handling of a large number of cells,
while the scanning speed ensures that cultures
can be analyzed at multiple time points,
enabling fully automated data acquisition for statistical analysis.
