The Labconco FreeZone Plus 12 liter freeze dryer is a console style model with a cascade refrigeration system
that is designed to handle light to moderate loads of low eutectic point samples.
This system can remove up to 4.1L of water in a 24 hour period and includes rushed stainless steel
and powder-coated steel exterior, a stainless steel collector chamber and coil
and an LCD that displays system operating parameters, set-up parameters and alarm messages.
Other features include two 1/3 hp CFC-free refrigeration systems, a red alarm light,
an LED vacuum and temperature wave graphs, patented moisture sensor, a vacuum control/break valve,
a rear-mounted RS-232 port, an automatic start-up switch for collector cool-down and vacuum pull-down
with manual override switches, a hot gas defrost and switch,
a retractable collector drain line and a 3" diameter port for connection of drying accessory.
