The Leica M820 is a high-performance ophthalmic surgical microscope designed
to provide extremely detailed visualisation during anterior segment surgery of
the eye, such as cataract surgery.
Thanks to the APO OptiChromeTM optics, the system offers natural colours,
high contrast, superior depth of field and extraordinary sharpness
of the finest anatomical structures.
Direct halogen illumination and a stable red reflex system
allow the surgeon to work with greater precision and safety,
improving intraoperative visibility even at low illumination levels.

Ergonomically, the Leica M820 has been developed for
operating comfort, ease of positioning and efficient workflow.
It is available with different stand configurations and
integrates advanced features such as motorised zoom,
motorised focus, dual-beam stereo illumination,
video systems and accessories for vitreoretinal surgery.
