The line can process ribbons up to 500 mm width.
The infeed is prepared for 2 ribbons simultaneously, each of 100 mm width, as shown in the photographs.
The machine had been processing PA 6.6 narrow fabrics / ribbons.
MACHINE SECTIONS
1/ INLET SECTION
Infeed section with compensating roller tower, divided into 2 compartments of 300 mm width each.
2/ SMALL IMPREGNATION TROUGH
Small impregnation / padding trough containing auxiliaries and dyestuff in the dye bath, with prior preparation in a dosing tank.
This section is also equipped with 3 suction lips for recovery of excess dye liquor after ribbon absorption and before entering the steaming chamber.
The recovered excess liquor is returned to the dosing tank.
This section is fitted with a level control system to regulate the bath level.
3/ THREE STEAMING CHAMBERS
3 steaming chambers with a maximum working temperature of 100°C, equipped with a manual tension adjustment handle to increase or reduce the tension of the conveyor chains transporting the fabric ribbons.
4/ SIX RINSING AND WASHING TROUGHS
6 rinsing and washing troughs with compensating rollers in the upper and lower sections.
5/ INFRARED DRYING BOX
At the outlet, there is a small infrared drying box, although the ribbons leave this section with partial residual moisture for the following process.
6/ TWO VERTICAL CHAMBERS WITH 4 RAISING ROLLERS
2 vertical chambers fitted with 4 raising rollers, fully enclosed and protected.
7/ FIRST HOT AIR DRYER
Entry into the first hot air dryer, steam-heated and fitted with infrared lamp supports.
8/ SECOND CHAMBER EQUIPPED WITH FOULARD FOR FINISHING
Second chamber equipped with a padding mangle (foulard) for finishing / stiffening, with 2 preparation tanks for pre-mixing the finishing bath and giving the ribbon the required body and handle.
9/ THIRD DRYER
10/ OUTLET SECTION
Outlet with compensating roller tower, divided into 2 compartments of 300 mm width each.
