The MP Biomedicals FastPrep-96 is a versatile, high-speed homogenizer
that delivers superior performance in high-throughput sample preparation.
Designed for resistant samples,
the FastPrep-96 utilizes high-speed linear motion to thoroughly disrupt tissue
and cells in just seconds by simultaneously impacting specialized lysing matrix spheres
on the sample material.
This high-performance system saves hours of sample preparation time
and enables the purification of high yields of intact DNA, RNA, proteins, and other metabolites.
It features: an attachment for two microtiter plates and an attachment for 96 x 1.5 mL tubes.
The system operates at 1800 oscillations/min with a 38 mm stroke.
