Nidek AR-1A Auto Refractometer
ASIA (North East)
The Nidek AR-1A Auto Refractometer is an ophthalmic instrument designed
for precise measurement of ocular refraction. It utilizes a
"large pupil zone imaging method" and includes features like 3D tracking,
retro-illumination
The AR-1A builds upon the "Zone Ring" system and
incorporates advancements like SLD technology and
highly sensitive CCDs for improved image quality,
even in dense cataracts.
Specification & Options
Accurate Refraction Measurement:
The AR-1A provides precise measurements of sphere, cylinder,
and axis, enabling reliable and consistent results.
Large Pupil Zone Imaging Method:
This method allows measurement of refraction over a wider area,
up to 6 mm in diameter, and can indicate the difference between central
and peripheral refraction.
Super Luminescent Diode (SLD) and Highly Sensitive CCD Technology:
The AR-1A uses an SLD for sharper and clearer images, even in
dense cataractous eyes, combined with a highly sensitive CCD to
detect even weak reflections.
Y-direction Auto Tracking:
The vertical auto-tracking system and auto-shot function ensure fast and
accurate measurements with minimal manual intervention.
Retro-illumination:
Retro-illumination enables observation of opacity in
the optical media of the eye.
Accommodation Measurement:
The AR-1A can measure accommodation amplitude.
