Nidek ARK-1a
ASIA (North East)
The ARK-1a is a multimodality device that includes autorefraction
and keratometry. This automated instrument measures with
objective accuracy and features accommodation testing and
retro-illumination. Super Luminescent Diode (SLD) technology allows
for accurate measurements on patients with cataracts, corneal opacities,
IOLs, and post LASIK procedures.
The ARK-1a also utilizes a multiple pupil zone imaging method combined
with rotary prism technology and an auto alignment
Eye Tracking System to ensure consistent, accurate,
reliable and repeatable data.
Features:
Super Luminescent Diode (SLD) for sharper images compared to LED
Accurate data even through many cataracts
Eye Tracking system provides X-Y-Z tracking for
superior alignment and focus
Large pupil zone imaging method (up to 6mm diameter)
Accommodation measurement
Keratometry measurement with mire ring to reduce eyelid artifacts
Retro illumination illustrates media opacity in both the cornea and lens
