Technical description
Pupil imaging
The HandyRef-K analyzes a pupillary area up to 4 mm in diameter.
This expanded measurement captures more data closer to subjective refraction.
Small pupils from 2 mm in diameter are also measured.
Keratometry
A Placido target is projected onto the corneal surface to minimize the influence of the upper eyelid. Ø 1-4 mm
Fast measurement mode
Faster and easier measurements are taken with this mode, suitable for patients who have difficulty focusing. Music can be activated to attract attention and calm children.
Auto shot
Automatic triggering
When alignment and focus are optimal, measurements are taken automatically. An alignment indicator is displayed to facilitate measurement.
Too far Too close Optimum condition
SLD/CCD Technology
The coupling of the SLD (Super Luminescent Diode) with the high-sensitivity CCD
sensor enables clear images even when the retinal reflection is weak.
A cataract mode is automatically activated when measurements are not obtained in
standard mode.
SynchroScan Technology
Measurements begin as soon as the eye is aligned, and only data obtained through
optimal alignment are retained. This new method allows for more efficient and stable values.
