Technical description
Thanks to its brighter and optimized optics,
the Pentacam® HR offers exceptional image quality.

Its image resolution is five times higher than that of
Pentacam® models, allowing the Pentacam® HR to
provide impressive representations of intraocular lenses (IOLs)
and phakic IOLs.

The Pentacam® HR comes with a complete set of basic software that
can be expanded according to your needs with other software and
optional modules.

Key features of the Pentacam® HR
A complete diagnosis in the blink of an eye.
In just two seconds, the Pentacam® HR provides you with
precise diagnostic data on the entire anterior segment of
the eye. The degree of corneal or lens density is made visible by
the light scattering properties of the lens and is automatically
quantified by the software. Measurements of the anterior and
posterior corneal surfaces provide the total refractive power as
well as the corneal thickness across its entire surface.
Data on the posterior surface are an optimal aid for
the early detection of corneal changes.

The rotational scan provides a large number of data points in
the center of the cornea. An additional pupil camera captures eye
movements during the examination to automatically correct the
measured data.
