The Optos California fundus camera is an advanced system
for ultra-widefield retinal imaging designed to
capture Optomap images quickly, accurately and
without the need for pupil dilation.
Thanks to cSLO (Confocal Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscopy),
it enables visualisation of up to approximately 200° of the retina,
equivalent to approximately 82 per cent of the retinal surface,
in a single scan.

This California fundus camera model comes in a full configuration
with RG, AF, FA and ICG modes, making it ideal for retina centres,
ophthalmology clinics and specialist practices requiring a
multimodal instrument for documentation, diagnosis and follow-up.
Optos California enables the capture of colour, red-free, choroidal,
autofluorescence and fluorangiography, FA,
and indocyanine green angiography (ICG),
supporting the assessment of retinal conditions,
macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy,
glaucoma and vascular abnormalities.

Imaging takes less than 0.4 seconds and
can also be performed without pupil dilation,
with pupils as small as 2 mm. The ProView system and
its software tools for comparison, overlay, measurement and
image management facilitate analysis across different imaging modalities
and the monitoring of clinical progression over time.
