The Optovue AngioVue OCT by Optovue is an advanced optical coherence tomography
(OCT) system with OCT angiography (OCTA) designed to
provide high-resolution retinal imaging and non-invasive analysis of
retinal microvasculature. Thanks to AngioVue technology, high-speed scanning,
and Motion Correction Technology (MCT) algorithms, it enables detailed visualization
of retinal vascular plexuses and optic nerve perfusion, supporting early diagnosis of
conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
The system also integrates quantitative analysis such as vessel density, FAZ
(Foveal Avascular Zone), and structural mapping, enhancing diagnostic precision and follow-up monitoring.
From an operational perspective, the device combines structural and vascular analysis
in a multimodal platform with automated protocols and advanced tools for
progression follow-up. Integration with longitudinal comparison software and
high image quality allow accurate assessment of ocular biomarkers and
optimization of the clinical workflow. This combination of speed, reliability,
