The carousel is designed as a ”heavy duty” structure, capable for lifting also when fully loaded by 500 Te cable, umbilical or flowline. Operation of carrousel is by use of electrical motors, supplied with an air cushion system between base plate and compartment, making a non-friction rotation. A demountable tower with spooling arm and a separate storage container is part of the package.

The carousel unit is suitable for transport and storage onboard ships or barges fully loaded with product.
The unit has been made for short mobilization- and installation time.
The carousel unit is designed for offshore installation of Cables, Umbilicals and Flowlines within specific limitations.
Carousels design and manufacture is certified or verified according to DNV-GL classifications.
