Perkin Elmer TMA 4000

A uniquely designed Thermomechanical Analyzer (TMA)
designed for optimal performance when measuring the coefficient
of thermal expansion (CTE) in materials.
This robust and easy-to-use design uses both electronics
and a unique Archimedean buoyancy system to control the probe,
allowing accurate determination of CTE and transitions.
In times of budget constraints and changes in material requirements driven
by regulations such as RoHS, understanding
how a material changes with temperature is more important than ever.
TMA testing procedures are now required for many industries
and the TMA 4000 provides you with a tool specifically
designed to capture this data. Data can be collected
from samples in many shapes with the range of the
TMA 4000 probes including expansion, compression, bending,
strain and volume (dilatometry).
