Philips Microdose L50
RUSSIA and Central Asia
The MicroDose L50 digital mammograph is a device with
an advanced digital detector designed for screening breast diseases.
Specification:
Condition: Used
year of release 2013
Detector, material - Crystalline silicon;
Detector, technology - Photon counting;
Dynamic resolution - 1 photon;
Resolution - 25 MP (4800×5200);
Pixel size: 50 microns;
Field size: 24×26 cm.
Philips MicroDose L50 is intended for screening examinations:
standard projections (CC - craniocaudal, MLO - mediolateral);
additional projections (LM - lateromedial, ML - mediolateral, axillary, extended);
target shots;
2D biopsy (using a laser guidance system);
introduction of localization marks (2D) (using a laser guidance system);
examination of tissue samples.
Peculiarities:
reduces radiation exposure by half;
a detector made of crystalline silicon, a very stable material that makes the
detector less sensitive to environmental factors;
a method of scanning the mammary gland with a thin X-ray beam is used;
The detector's high response speed means it is always ready to receive the next photon;
this prevents the appearance of "shadow objects" in the image,
which could interfere with analysis;
The fast operation of the digital detector allows for examination of
up to 15 patients per hour;
outstanding image quality due to the absence of “dead” pixels that
could hide microcalcifications and other small formations;
High resolution mammograms allow for clear resolution of even the smallest details,
reducing the need for additional targeted and enlarged images;
MicroDose Smart AECTM automatic exposure continuously adjusts exposure
parameters according to breast density;
The standard DICOM format is used to transfer and record data.
