Auto-Refraction –
Measures the patient’s refractive error (how much correction is needed for
myopia, hyperopia, or astigmatism).
Similar to an autorefractor.
Keratometry –
Measures the curvature of the cornea to help fit contact lenses or
detect irregularities like astigmatism.
Corneal Topography –
Creates a 3D map of the corneal surface for advanced analysis
(keratoconus detection, surgery planning, etc.).
Tonometry –
Measures intraocular pressure (IOP), useful for glaucoma screening.
Pachymetry –
Measures corneal thickness, also used in glaucoma and
refractive surgery evaluations.
Dry-Eye Analysis –
Uses infrared imaging and tear film assessment to check for
dry-eye conditions.
