Dronsfield’s Roll Grinder
Roll face: 3000 mm and swing 1500mm.
Used 3000 mm Dronsfield’s roll grinder, grinding concave and convex cambers.
Head traverse 4.8m. Wheel size Ø610 x Ø254 x 72. Estimated max. diameter: 1500 mm.

Scope of supply:
1. Main bed inc. grinding head with finishing feature. DC motor, typ. Speed 500-650 RPM. “GEM” oscillating unit. Manual adjustment for camber.
2. Secondary bed including 2 x steadies, 1 x roll drive inc. drive shaft, 1 x centre.
3. Drainage trough which sits between the 2 frames.
4. Skid with coolant tank, pump and pressure vessel.
5. Main electrical panel.
6. DC drive panel.
7. Various loose pieces of mounting hardware.
8. Wheel balancing stand.
9. Spreader beam.
